1. What you are agreeing to

With this consent you allow us to send you occasional mail about SIDES LABS as a product: new platform capabilities, changes to the tiers, partner programmes, and invitations to events we run for partners.

It is optional. Registering, using the API and publishing in the marketplace all work exactly the same without it, and nothing about your account changes if you say no.

2. What it is not

  • It is not the developer newsletter. That is a separate consent with a separate document — see the newsletter consent — and agreeing to one says nothing about the other.
  • It is not operational mail. Verification, password resets, invitations, approval decisions and invoices are sent because you have an account and a contract, not because you consented, and they continue whatever you choose here.
  • It is not permission to pass your address to anyone. We do not sell, rent or share it, and no third party sends on our behalf beyond the mail provider named in the privacy policy.

3. What we use

Your name, your business e-mail address and your language preference, so the mail is addressed to you and written in the language you chose. We do not track whether you opened it and there is no tracking pixel in it.

4. Withdrawing

You can withdraw at any time, with effect for the future, in your portal settings or by replying to any of these mails. Every one of them carries the way out.

Withdrawing this consent does not affect the newsletter consent, and it does not affect the lawfulness of what was sent while it was in force.

5. The record we keep

Your consent is stored as a record: that it was given, the version of this document that was in force, when, and a hashed form of the address it came from. Withdrawing marks the record withdrawn rather than deleting it — proving that a consent existed at the moment a mail was sent is only possible with the history, and that proof protects you as much as us.
