Pricing
One catalogue, for the page and for the platform
What a tier costs and what it grants are the same rows the API reads when it decides whether your next request is allowed. This page renders them; it does not restate them.
The tiers
What each tier costs
Rendered from GET /v1/subscription/public/tiers. Rename a tier,
change a price or add a capability in the SIDES admin area and this page follows
on the next load — there is no deploy in between, and no list of tiers written
into this file.
No tier is published yet
The catalogue answered, and it is empty — SIDES has not published a tier for the public yet. Nothing is being withheld from you.
Terms beyond the tier
Additional terms such as a lead share, a revenue share or marketing placements are negotiated with each partner individually. They are part of no tier; as a partner you see yours in the partner portal.
How a tier works
A tier is data, and it is enforced
Six things worth knowing before you pick one. None of them is a promise this page makes on its own — each is a rule the API applies.
- The quota is the server's, not the button's
- Every entitlement and every quota is checked in the service layer, on every write path, on every request. A limit you can reach in the portal is a limit the API also refuses — and it refuses with a documented error code, not a silent truncation.
- Capabilities not included are named
- The catalogue returns every combination of tier and capability, including the ones a tier withholds. That is what lets the comparison table state an explicit “not included” instead of leaving a cell blank and letting you guess whether it was withheld or forgotten.
- Prices are decimal, end to end
-
An amount is a decimal string on the wire and a
DECIMALin the column — never a floating-point number, in the API or in this page. The currency travels with the amount and is shown with it. - Not every tier is chosen at registration
- A tier can be publicly listed and still be arranged with SIDES rather than picked from a form. The catalogue says which is which, and the card shows the route that actually applies.
- There is a tier you fall back to
- One tier is the default: it is what a registration falls back to, and what a lapsed subscription degrades to. Your account does not stop existing because a payment did.
- Adding a tier is a row, not a release
- Tiers and their capabilities are data. A new tier is a set of rows; it needs no deployment of the API and no change to this page.
What happens when I outgrow my tier?
You move up, and the new entitlements apply from the change. A move down is parked until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, so a downgrade never takes away something you are still paying for. The subscription row in SIDES LABS — not the payment provider — is what decides your access.
Can I build before I pay for anything?
Registering creates your business partner, your first administrator and a subscription to the tier you chose. You can read the API documentation, build against the API and prepare a marketplace submission long before anything is published. What the entry tier costs is in the catalogue above, not in this sentence — a price written into a page is a price that goes stale the first time somebody changes it.
Why does this page not list the tiers in its own HTML?
Because then there would be two answers to what a tier grants, and one of them would be out of date. The page reads the same catalogue the entitlement checks read. If the two ever disagreed, the page would be wrong — so it is not allowed to have its own copy.
Are prices shown with VAT?
The catalogue carries a net amount and its currency. What is added on top depends on where your company is registered and on your VAT id, which the registration collects — so the invoice, not this page, is where the tax appears. Ask us if you need the exact figure before you register.
What exists today
The tier catalogue is real and this page reads it: the tiers, their prices, their capabilities and their registration flags all come from the API. What is not built yet is everything downstream of choosing one — the registration form itself, the subscription and billing area in the partner portal, and the payment integration. Until those land, a tier is something you can read here and arrange with us; it is not yet something you can buy in a browser.
Pick a tier, or ask which one fits
Registration creates your business partner, your first administrator and your subscription in one step. Changing tier later is a change to a row, not a migration.
